Moving!!

Hello :)  I have decided to move my blog over to Wordpress.  I know I haven't been big on blogging in the past, and I did move it over there just over a month ago... BUT, the best way to get my projects out there and to share them is this way.  I am really going to try and be better.  Maybe I'll carry a notebook and start jotting things down to blog about.  My decision to move is easy.  My shop name wasn't taken.  So, it's much MUCH easier in advertising.  Just go to: www.mysticmooncreations.wordpress.com :)
Thank you everyone!

New CHEVRON Coffee Cozy

I just spent the last few days making new CHEVRON coffee cozies!  I think they turned out awesome.  I have been following a few different blogs and sites and chevron is definitely what everyone is buying from pillows to clothes to dishes.  I have been trying to come up with something that everyone else isn't selling... it's really harder then it seems!  And with summer here, hats 'n scarves are just not selling.  So, I took a look around etsy and found very, very few people selling anything similar.  You can purchase through my etsy shop at www.mysticmooncreations.etsy.com
These are some of the colors available.
Magenta is one of my FAVORITE!!!
 Everyone loves mint :)
Yellow is so bright and cheery.

Well, I think I will start on some small quilts to get up also.  Everyone needs a great throw for the couch or as a picnic blanket!

Is it really April?

I can't believe that April is half over already.  Really?  This year has just flown by.  Yet, I feel I have got NOTHING accomplished this year.  And I really haven't.  I was really hoping to get my photography back up and running.  But since I was rear ended in January, I'm running in slow motion. All. The. Time.  IT SUCKS!  I am thankful that I'm healthy and able to recover.  Even though I still have pain daily.  Some days I can't even get the dishes done.  *sigh*  OK, enough complaining! :)
I have been working on some projects.  I will get pictures up soon.  I have sent a few items out to photographers to get some nice pictures in return.  If you are wanting any custom orders, I am still accepting.  Please be in mind that depending on the project, it may take me a little longer since my shoulders and arms get tired quicker.  I can give you approximate time when inquiring.   Here is a blanket that I started, I'm a little further now.  I thought it was turning out pretty well, but both my husband and son don't like the green and blue together.  Now, I'm not sure whether to continue and post for sale or rip it apart and do different colors.  What do you think?
Well everyone, I'm off to get dinner finished and go to football practice!
Have a good night!

Woodland Wolf NEW product

Happy Tuesday!  Today is my only day off this week.  Well, from one job... I still have a few orders to finish up on the crafty side.  I'm running a little behind.  I was rear-ended last week transitioning from one freeway to another, so I've been sore and running to doctors and physical therapy.  I can't wait to feel better!!  I get migraines sometimes, but let me say, a constant headache for over a week is about as bad!

So... in regards to orders.  Christina K. I have yours ready to ship out today.  I thought it would be to you today, but it should be at your door Thursday!  All my Sundevils orders are being delivered tonight at football practice!  I may have a few extra things I'll be bringing in case you want something else too.

Here is a picture of the Woodland Wolf Cowl I made.  This one is made with a wool blend yarn and is SUPER warm and cozy!  I love this!  My husband looked at me and said "You aren't going to wear that are you?!" So, I don't think he is a fan ;)  This one is made and ready to ship, it is a large child/teen size and $99 +shipping.  If you would like one in an acrylic blend yarn or wanting more lightweight, the price would be less.  Orders are always welcome!  Just send me an email and we can discuss options mflagg75@gmail.com
Well, I've got to get back to those orders!  Thank you everyone for your support!

Make-it-yourself laundry soap?

I've been wanting to try making my own laundry soap for awhile, but I am so skeptical if it really works.  With a husband that gets dirty at work.  A teenage boy that plays football and does weight lifting (EWE) it has to clean good!  I'm sure you all can imagine.  And how will it smell??  With a husband who's super power is his sense of smell... if he doesn't like the way his clothes smell, they end up back in the laundry basket (or on the ground next to the hamper).  But today I found this blog and she talks about how important smell is also.  So, I think after this bottle of Tide is done I will give it a shot.  I mean really, who DOESN'T want to save money!  And laundry soap is EXPENSIVE!
I'll be posting my review in a couple weeks... I will need to pick up the supplies this week and have to give it a go.  I'm already nervous and I haven't even started!
Wish me luck!

Giveaway at Crochet My Love!

Good morning!  Check out this fellow crocheter!  She has some cute stuff ;)  She has a giveaway currently of a newborn snowman hat and scarf.  Would look so cute for Christmas pictures, I hope I win!  You can see it on her blog.  I really like the look of the softer yarn with the snowman.  Now to just decide what color scarf if I win.... Maybe blue... or purple... or green.  Decisions, decisions....
Have a fabulous day!

Winner!

Only 2 comments on the blog.  Dianna, you are the winner today!  Email me and let me know what color you would like them!

I've been working on a few more bootcuffs.  Here's a picture of the one set I finished this morning.  It is a really nice wool blend.  Not too thick so they won't bunch up with tighter boots.  The color is a blue mix.  I have lots of colors in different types of yarn if your looking for something else.  I've change the style just a little from the first few I made so that you can flip it and get a different look.  These are made in a size medium.  For best fit, measure the largest part of your calf if you are wearing with tall boots.  If you want them for shorter boots, measure just where the top of the boot sits on your lower calf.
Also, here is a pair of turquoise fingerless gloves from the last giveaway.  I have more of this color yarn, so these will be posting in the etsy shop also!
Have a fabulous Friday!!
